The container ship is a new generation of 10,000-TEU dual-fuel container ship independently developed and designed by CIMC ORIC with complete intellectual property rights. It is also the largest container ship that can enter the Black Sea through the Turkish Strait.This type of ship adopts a double-island arrangement, with a total length of 299.95 meters, a ship width of 45.6 meters, a molded depth of 25.0 meters, a design draft of 12.5 meters, a structural draft of 17.5 meters, a design speed of 20 knots, and the largest C-type LNG fuel storage tank in its class. , the cruising range of both LNG mode and fuel mode can meet the single round-trip demand of the classic China-Europe or China-US routes, ensuring the flexibility of the shipowner's operation plan.It also has the characteristics of clean environmental protection and low carbon emissions. The EEDI energy efficiency design index is about 50% lower than the stringent third-stage emission baseline of the International Maritime Organization (IMO); moreover, the R&D team also fully considers its entire life cycle. According to the evaluation, under the condition of 1900FEU ultra-high reefer load, the CII carbon emission intensity rating can still be maintained within the healthy operating range by 2040, which is far ahead of similar ships in the market.
The optimal design of the ship shape and line type of this order matches the multi-objective operation plan of the ship owner. It has excellent performance, has core technical features such as fast speed and low fuel consumption, and is equipped with MAN's latest G type-EcoEGR dual-fuel main engine, high-power shaft generator, shore power system, energy-saving conduit, ballast water treatment device, cold box energy efficiency monitoring system, equipped with a fixed fire water monitor design that meets the special safety concept requirements of the shipowner.It is also equipped with a 3-layer lashing bridge design, and up to 11 layers of TEU can be stacked above the hatch cover, and the nominal number of containers on the ship exceeds 10,300 TEU.
The hull structure has achieved lightweight design, all of which have undergone cabin finite element calculation, code calculation, and local structure finite element analysis to ensure the strength, stiffness and fatigue requirements of the hull structure.At the same time, do a good job in vibration and noise analysis, analyze key points from the design source, and ensure the comfort of the ship.
The ship type adopts LNG dual-fuel main engine and generator design, high and low pressure mixed gas supply system, meets the most advanced design of ammonia ready and methanol ready, so that the ship type has the zero-carbon long-term goal of completely realizing zero-carbon fuel conversion, highlighting the forward-looking design.
This year, Changhong International has received orders for 16+4 ships, including LR2 product tankers and LNG dual-fuel container ships.The company has 48 orders in hand, and the order is scheduled to 2027.
In the next step, Changhong International will combine the current market conditions and its own advantages, focusing on the container ship market of about 3,000-12,000 containers, giving priority to LNG, methanol and other green and environmentally friendly fuel ships, as well as orders for MR chemical tankers and LR2 tankers , from a long-term perspective, focusing on the medium-sized gas ship market.
